Whether it’s taking in the Reverse Starlight Parade, shopping at our Mistletoe Marketplace Pop-up, or taking in all our local shops, we are passionate about our community and in a year that has thrown us many curveballs, The Dalles Chamber is dedicated to keeping our local economy strong and our community positive.
This holiday season, The Dalles will be hosting a number of Pop-Up markets in various locations. Vendors will sell their amazing and unique products, giving you a chance to support these local businesses while shopping for the one-of-a-kind Holiday gifts. On November 27th we’ll celebrate the Reverse Starlight Parade for a way to enjoy the holiday cheer from the comfort and safety of your car. Load the family into your vehicle, get your hot drinks and get ready for some fun. Floats will line 3rd street downtown The Dalles and the community will drive by and take them in from the comfort of their warm cars. After you take in the floats, you can drive around The Dalles and take in the local lights.
November 28th marks the start of our Shop Small campaign. Give the gift of local this season when you’re doing your holiday shopping! Buying local helps keep four times the money in our local economy. The Dalles gift cards are available online. The gift cards are valid at many locations like restaurants, breweries, wineries, and retailers in The Dalles, and can be used at a later date.
