Fancy a lobster or morel Want to sink your teeth into a chanterelle or bolete These are just a few of the many local mushrooms in Mt. Hood Territory ready to be identified, plucked, and served on your plate this season.

There will be some fungus among us this coming weekend at the Estacada Festival of the Fungus. Join fellow fun guys and gals on November 5th at Estacada High school for this family-friendly event. Bring in your freshly foraged loot and get help identifying which are edible and which are not. Learn the best techniques for mushroom cleaning. Enjoy an art show that can only be described as spurrific.
