Over 70 ethereal waterfalls flow down the Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood National Forest. Ramona Falls is a jewel among them. This 7 mile loop trail to the waterfall crosses the Wild and Scenic glacial-fed Sandy River, passing by centuries old lava flow that has been carved out by water. Start at the Ramona Falls trailhead, about 6 miles off of Hwy 26.
Need a post hike snack? Check out Wraptitude or the Skyway Bar and Grill located in the Mt. Hood Villages.
** This is a great waterfall hike alternative to the closed trails in the Columbia River Gorge that are currently closed due to the Eagle Creek Fire.
