UPDATE
8/17/2026: The Grasshopper Fire in the Mt. Hood National Forest currently has Level 1, 2, and 3 evacuation orders in place in large areas of Wasco, Clackamas, and Hood River County. Areas of the Mt. Hood National Forest are closed. Please check advisories for evacuations, business and road closures, and air quality before planning travel within the affected areas.
Additionally, a Level 3: GO NOW evacuation alert has been issued for the area around Harriett Lake due to the Austin and Mitchell Fires. Please avoid this area.
