Fall harvest season is upon us, which means we are about to be showered with delicious honeycrisp apples, Bartlett pears, pumpkins, chestnuts and more. To fully enjoy all the season has to offer, head out to the Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood Territory to support local farmers markets.

Mount Hood Farmers Market

Enjoy music, food, fresh produce, and handmade goods at the Mount Hood Farmers Market in Sandy. Right on the main street of town in Sandy, you can stop by the market on Fridays from 3pm to 7pm through the end of October. It’s the perfect stop for after a hike or while you are exploring in Mt. Hood Territory.

Estacada Farmers Market

This is the last Saturday for you to catch the Estacada Farmers Market from 11am - 3pm! You’ll find local produce and farm fresh delicacies like fresh salad greens, herbs and eggs, as well as beautiful artwork and jewelry.

Hood River Farmers Market

The Hood River Farmers Market hosts over 40 vendors on Saturdays from 9am - 1pm. The market has something for everyone with local farmers, ranchers, food artisans, chefs and live music. The market is open through the end of November so plan your trip now!

The Dalles Farmers Market

Open through the second weekend in October on Saturdays from 9am - 1pm, The Dalles Farmers Market prides itself on providing both education for the community and opportunity for farmers to sell locally. Grab a coffee and enjoy browsing the vendors.

If possible, think about taking public transportation! This will give you more time to peruse the local vendors and taste the flavors of the season, and less time finding a parking spot.
