The 16th Annual Hood River Hops Festival presented by Jacobs returns September 21 with 40 plus breweries from around the Northwest. With live music, great food and the freshest fresh hop beers around, Hood River is the only place to be this September.
Traditional beer is produced using dried hops, while fresh hop beers are brewed with hop flowers directly off the vine, often within 24 hours of the harvest. The fresh hop flowers saturate the beer with flavors and aromas that are light, earthy and of course fresh. 98% of U.S. hop production takes place in the Pacific Northwest which means almost all fresh hop beers are created and consumed right here. Fresh hop beers are typically only available September through October. Come celebrate the fresh hop season at the Hood River Hops Fest!
Head to the downtown Hood River Columbia parking lot on 5th St. and Columbia St. between noon and 8pm. Please visit the Hood River Hops Fest website for more information on tickets.
