Treat Yourself in the East Gorge: They say that for every mile east you drive in The Gorge from Cascade Locks, you get 1 less inch of rainfall each year. The Dalles is known for being simply sunsational, with over 300 days of sunshine each year. Which is why it is one of the most beautiful places to go come spring. Visit for a few days to soak up the sun, the surroundings, and some sun salutations on a SUP.
